The Kavariayas

The Kavariayas (people who make wishes which if fulfilled must walk hundreds of kilometers to the banks of the Ganges to bring water back to their villages in urns so that their own Shivjis (occupants of local shiv temples) can be bathed with it...

In queue here are a bunch of Kavariyas, waiting for their turn in a complex ritual where a priest will fill their urns with water drawn from the Ganges.
